Marketing Specialist

Job Purpose:

As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote our products and services.  You will work closely with our sales to ensure that our marketing efforts align with our business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media (LinkedIn, FaceBook, Twitter and YouTube), website optimization and any paid advertising.
  • Work with our core suppliers and their respective Marketing teams to identify and promote new products and features.
  • Develop content for digital marketing campaigns such as blog posts and videos.
  • Manage all Marketing activities for our AD suppliers tied to our Field Marketing……
  • Collaborate with sales team to develop sales enablement materials, such as presentations, flyers, case studies, etc.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget.  Key suppliers such as DODGE, Regal/Marathon and WEG offer promotional funds.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for new marketing strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Marketing with a focus on campaign development and execution
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Electrical Engineer

Job Purpose:

Apex designs and fabricates custom built Electrical Control Panels for customers throughout the Chicagoland Area. Apex is looking to bring on a full time Electrical Engineer for this growing Department.
Job Overview:
 
  • Design and modify new equipment by generating electrical schematics, writing PLC, HMI or other soft-ware for new products.
  • Confirm capabilities of current and new systems and components by designing testing methods and pro-tocols.
  • Work and meet with customers as necessary to establish initial project design objectives and specifi-cations.
  • Interface with other department staffs and vendors to resolve engineering issues and to research and specify the purchase of components, and parts to meet project needs.
  • Develop prototypes and test plans and procedures to verify the feasibility of design alternatives.
  • Perform test procedures, record, and analyze test results and take necessary corrective actions.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain test protocol.
  • Ability for commissioning and start ups of AC/DC Motor Drives
  • Generate project cost and time quotations.
  • Develop required project documentation including manuals and installation instruction.
  • Perform project finalization and release procedures and prepare related documentation.
  • Perform and supervise product installation procedures and provide user training as required.
  • Provide technical support throughout the company and for customers as required.

Job Overview:
 
  • Receive and enter incoming repair item in our ERP system.
  • Testing of incoming repairs on specialized testing equipment
  • Clean electro-mechanical equipment assemblies as needed using various methods and steps, including but not limited to parts washers/steamers
  • Balancing completed repairs on specialized testing equipment
  • Final painting and tagging of all completed repairs
  • Work/Assist Experienced repair techs on repairs
  • Secondary back up driver for pick up or delivery of repairs.
  • Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear
  • Lift, tighten, adjust and secure heavy objects in order to perform work duties
  • Must be dependable and prompt

Electric Motor Rewinder
Apex is currently looking for our next top level service tech to join our team in our newly added Repair Facility in Romeoville, IL
Job Summary: The Winding Technician will wind stators and/or armatures for electric motors, transformers and special equipment and for AC & DC motors by performing the following du-ties.
 
Essential Job Duties:
  • Inspect & test various kinds of electric motor windings for damage and evidence of electrical conformance
  • Diagnose and repair various kinds of electric motor windings
  • Understand electrical circuits
  • Operate specialized repair and testing equipment, including but not limited to winding machines, test panels, surge testers, core loss testers, burnout ovens
  • Winds stators and/or armatures for electric motors, transformers and special equip-ment.
  • Cleans, files and deburrs prior to rewind
  • Confirm and document winding data
  • Cuts, shapes, size insulating materials and wire cables or connections
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to stand for long extended periods of time

Service Repair Tech

Apex is currently looking for our next top level service tech to join our team in our newly added Repair Facility in Romeoville, IL
Job Overview
  • Repair various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment – including but not limited to AC/DC Motors, Pumps and Gearboxes
  • Read job cards to determine job status, work authorization/limitations, estimates, description of problems and expected service ability
  • Test electro-mechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems using various methods and special testing equipment
  • Disassemble electro-mechanical equipment noting parts identification, configuration and condition
  • Clean electro-mechanical equipment assemblies as needed using various methods and steps, including but not limited to parts washers/steamers
  • Correctly requisition needed items from purchasing department
  • Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies - including but not limited to bearings, brushes, brush holders, motor leads, gears, seals, impellers, mechanic switches, brakes and clutches
  • Retest reassembled electro-mechanical equipment for proper output and operations. Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis
  • Operations specialized repair and testing equipment and other equipment as needed
  • Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear
  • Lift, tighten, adjust and secure heavy objects in order to perform work duties
  • Must be dependable and prompt

Siemens Service Servo Repair Tech
Apex is the authorized Siemens Servo Repair Facility . Apex is currently looking for the right individual to be trained to disassemble motors, diagnose failure and rebuild motors. Individuals will learn servo electronics and analysis.
 
Job Overview:
 
  • Disassemble and rebuild servo motors according to required specification
  • Read job cards to determine job status, work authorization/limitations, estimates, description of problems and expected service ability
  • Test servo motors to troubleshoot known or suspected problems using various methods and special testing equipment
  • Keep detailed notes on all repairs. Draw diagrams of motors as they were disassembled to insure proper re-assembly
  • Clean electro-mechanical equipment assemblies as needed using various methods and steps, including but not limited to parts washers/steamers
  • Correctly requisition needed items from purchasing department
  • Conduct repairs with maximum reliability
  • Retest reassembled servo equipment for proper output and operations. Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis
  • Operations specialized repair and testing equipment and other equipment as needed
  • Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear
  • Lift, tighten, adjust and secure heavy objects

Electrical Control Panel Builder

Apex designs and fabricates custom built Electrical Control Panels for customers throughout the Chicagoland Area. We are currently looking for the right individual to assemble and wire industrial motor control panels.

Job Overview:
 
  • Reads and understands electrial schematics & PLC, HMI Drawings
  • Install components on subpanels, enclosures and wire panels
  • Layout panels with complete terminal rotation
  • Create and label all tags and wire labels
  • Completes high standard of testing on completed Control Panels
  • Safe use of all hand tools and power tools – including wire cutters, crimpers, drills, taps, knock-outs, jig saws, band saws
  • Must use lockout/tagout procedures
  • Complete required computer and paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis
  • Operate specialized repair and testing equipment and other equipment as needed
  • Lift, tighten, adjust and or secure heavy objects in order to perform work duties
  • Attain and keep current with the knowledge and skills required to provide information, service and assistance to our customers
  • Provide assistance to other employees in a courteous and professional manner as required
  • Must follow all safety regulations
  • Must be dependable & prompt
