AC/DC Motor Repair Technician - Steger Location
Job Description
Apex Industrial is looking to fill two positions for an experienced AC/DC Motor/Pump Repair technician for our Steger location.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Familiar with mechanical and electricle equipment
- Winding Experience a plus
- Highly motivated, Self Starter & Dependable

- Able to lift, tighten, adjust and/or secure heavy objects in order to perform work duties
Responsibilities
- Test electro-mechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems
- Disassemble equipment noting parts identification, configuration and condition
- Clean equipment assemblies as needed utilizing parts washers/steamers and sandblasting equipment
- Requisition proper replacement parts within computer system
- Replace or repair defective mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies
- Assembly and testing of repaired equipment
- Operate specialized repair & testing equipment and other equipment as needed
